The SenSura® Mio Convex Light is a baseplate created to feel and look as natural as possible. A convex shape allows for greater flexibility while remaining stable around the stoma. At the same time, elastic adhesive ensures the barrier remains in place on uneven skin, deeper-set areas and protruding stomas. In the process, the pouch remains discreet.

How It Works

Utilizing Click coupling, the SenSura® Mio Convex Light has an adaptive convex shell. The elastic adhesive is not part of the pouch, ensuring the user can remove and empty the pouch without detaching the barrier. To accommodate a range of patients, barriers have pre-cut or customizable hole sizes and work with several pouch sizes.

• Integrated flexlines allow for stability and flexibility, ensuring comfort and security no matter your body shape and the situation.
• Elastic Adhesive works with the skin’s natural elasticity, allowing the barrier and ostomy system to stretch and retract when you move.
• Made of textile for a soft, comfortable, low-friction fit under clothing and against the skin. The barrier, however, won’t feel wet after you’ve finished a shower.
• A choice of colors helps the barrier blend into your clothing.
• The full-circle filter utilizes an innovative pre-filter to reduce pouch ballooning up to 61%, limit clogs and protect the carbon and membrane.
